Multiples
Multiples are
the numbers in a multiplication table.
EXAMPLE:
6, 12,
18, 24, 30 , ... are Multiples of 6.
The Lowest Common Multiple (LCM)
of two or more numbers is the smallest number which each of these numbers will
divide into.
EXAMPLE:
Here we find the LCM of 4
and 10.
The multiples of 4 are
4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, …
The multiples of 10
are
10, 20, 30, …
The lowest number in bout lists is 20.
