Lesson 10. Multiplying out 2 brackets

Each term in one bracket must be multiplied by each term in the other bracket.

Consider

(a + b)(c + d)

EXAMPLE:

Multiply out

(x + 3)(x + 5)

EXAMPLE:

Expand

(x + 4)(x + 2)

EXAMPLE:

Expand

(x – 4)(x + 2)

EXAMPLE:
